I picture a beautiful romance that ends tragically. It’s a cool winter night. The snow is lightly falling upon a small frozen pond surrounded by forest that seems to go on forever. There is a young couple gliding around the icy surface almost like they are dancing. Twirling around like little snowflakes in the wind. They are completely in love and care free. They are oblivious of what nature has in store for them. As they are twirling away from each other, the ice suddenly breaks and the girl falls through. Everything seems to be standing still as the boy watches her sink into the icy depths. He tries to race towards her but everything seems to be going in slow motion. When the boy finally reaches the spot where her body once was standing, he slides down wiping away the snow searching for a glimpse of her. He hears a muffled banging against the glass near him and sees her. The boy desperately tries to save her but she is trapped beneath the cold divider. She gives him a sad smile and presses her hand against the glass under the boy’s hand. The girl closes her eyes and sinks down into the pond leaving the boy alone and lost.
